The Trouble With Crews!

As I said before, The Handyman and his Assistant just showed up on the first day of work. It never occurred to us to ask why The Handyman had brought an assistant. We just assumed it was the arrangement The Investor had made. The second day brought us The Painter. (Again Andy called The Investor who said he’d send someone.)

When The Handyman and The Painter showed up together, we didn’t think too much about it. Throughout the day, we learned both of them had worked together on several projects for The Investor. Carpooling made sense, since they both came from the same general direction and it was a long drive.
